It aired on February 1, 2019.
The episode opens with Mother giving Krone a cold warning to stay in her lane and to not attempt to undermine her. With that power struggle unknowingly happening in the background, Emma, Norman, and Ray continue to try to root out the traitor. Despite the risks, they agree to bring two other children, Don and Gilda, into their plans. Norman sets up a trap for the traitor with unlikely consequences.
The anime series The Promised Neverland is based on the manga series of the same title, written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. The anime television series adaptation was announced in the 26th issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump on May 28, 2018. The series premiered on January 11, 2019 and airs on Fuji TV's late-night Noitamina anime programming block.[1][2] The series is animated by CloverWorks and directed by Mamoru Kanbe, with Toshiya Ono handling series composition, Kazuaki Shimada handling character designs, and Takahiro Obata composing the series' music.[3] The first season ran for 12 episodes.[4] It is streamed on Amazon Video, but only in Japan, which is contrary to the contract that has Amazon having exclusive streaming rights to shows that have aired on Noitamina since Spring 2016[citation needed], as Wakanim has exclusive streaming rights in France.[5] UVERworld performed the series' opening theme song \"Touch Off,\" while Cö shu Nie performed the series' ending theme songs \"Zettai Zetsumei\" (絶体絶命, \"Desperate Situation\") and \"Lamp\".[6][7][8] Aniplex of America streamed the series on Crunchyroll, Hulu, FunimationNow, and Hidive, starting on January 9, 2019.[9][10][11] The series is simulcasted on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand.[12] On March 28, 2019, Adult Swim announced that the anime's first season would air on their Toonami programming block starting on April 14, 2019.[13][a] Netflix started streaming the series on September 1, 2020 in the United States, Canada and Latin America.[14]
This episode we see Sister Krone offering a truce to Emma and her friends in order to bring Isabella down. Definitely an offer that is too good to be true, and Ray sees right through it. Along with the truce, Sister Krone reveals a lot of information about their origin, and how much little she know about the outside world. Following that is a tricked or be tricked kind of situation, with Emma and Norman trying to hide the fact that they knew about the tracker in their ear and how to destroy it. Alas, you do not play with experienced adults, especially one like Krone.
Episode 6 reveals a little more about the outside world, with the introduction of William Minerva and his books. Also, I think that this episode plays more on the fact that Emma and her friends are after all, just children dealing with something that is way bigger than them.
Now, the ending was pretty different from how it was in the manga so I am pretty excited to see how things turn out. Who was it entering the room Will it be Mama Or will it be Sister Krone who did not make an appearance this episode Or will it be a short-lived excitement with Norman/Ray/Emma catching them before Mama does
But not all is bad, as I feel the build-up on revealing the spy was pretty well executed. From Phil, to Gilda, to Don, each had a decent scene in creating doubt in viewers. At the end of this episode, the spy is revealed to be Ray (omg). 781b155fdc
